OK, I totally got suckered into seeing Rocky Balboa due to the commercials. I’ll admit it. My nostalgia gene got triggered causing $12 and 2 hours of my life to be utterly wasted. Now Stallone has come along with another sequel in which he utilizes the absolute same technique of listing the main characters full name in place of a more traditional naming method (numbers, sub-titles, whatever.) I had gone ahead and assumed this move would be complete shit.
Then a trailer (below) has to be released that includes Rambo cutting a dude’s head off and pulling another’s throat out and gets me all excited. Damn it. So when this shit comes out next year and I am duped into forking over $X only to come on here and bitch, PLEASE remind me of this post. Deal?

An ex-narcotic agent gives tips on the best / worst hiding places for hiding drugs. Specifically, he discusses how easy it is to hide small amounts of marijuana while riding in a car. My favorite tip is if you get pulled over with a joint, stick it in a straw (i.e. McDonald’s cup) and stick it in any nook / crannie of the dashboard.

I had seen the Sprint commercial below a few days or a week ago, who knows, and absolutely loved it. Then, today when I was scanning BoingBoing, I stumbled across a post that said “Animated Flashlight Film” and of course clicked the link. That is when I put two and two together to realized it was the same people who did the commercial. The film was done by piecing together long exposure photos of people waving flashlights around into designs. Pretty cool idea if I do say so myself. None-the-less, scope out the commercial below and when you are finished head on over to the PikaPika site to watch the “Pika Pika 2007” film.

Okay, I really feel like Wes Anderson can do no wrong. I’ve absolutely loved every single movie he’s been involved with! Well most of them anyway. Below is the clip for his latest endeavor staring Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, Jason Schwartzman & Angelica Houston (I mean who else did you expect). It’s titled “The Darjeeling Limited” and is about brothers trying to reestablish their bond by traveling across India. It hits theaters 9/29/2007 and I will be there dammit!
