We all knew that Freud was a raging coke head.  Or at least if you didn’t know, you should know that he tried to prescribe it to the crazies in all his coke high glory.  But what do DNA and LSD have in common?  Well besides the fact that if you can read and count, you see 3 letters oh and the fact that the dude who discovered the double helix also was an LSD rager (fav. party favor = LSD + nakedness).  Read more on the top 5 Greatest Things Ever Accomplished While High…oh and apparently Moses ate a shitload of shrooms and through all that magic evolved the 10 Commandments (did he also think of Puff the Magic Dragon?)…

So I’ll Tell You a Story About the Joker & the Thief in the Night… December 20, 2007

Somehow, a group of men managed to walk away with not only one, but two extremely expensive paintings from a museum in San Paulo.  First, they magically knew when the changing of the guards was going to occur within the museum (do I smell a inside job?).  They proceeded to use a hydraulic car jack to pry their way through a metal door (and the guards didn’t hear this?).  Then they stole some expensive paintings…..all around 5 am.  The worst part is that the room where the Picasso painting was hung didn’t even have a video camera!  Check out the story here.

Meet Kim Leblanc. Mr. Leblanc was found inside of a car that did not belong to him. Please note that when found, he was PANTLESS. When questioned as to why he broke into the car naked, he said that he had done “drugs” the night before (this is the best part) and a LEPRECHAUN, yes folks they do exist in drug infested minds (aka psychedelics), let him into the car. How do you look a cop in the eye and tell them that you thought a leprechaun let you into the car? Wow. Check out the story here. Look at that mugshot. Perfection!

Amazon’s MP3 beta page has finally gone live and it looks like they have quite a list of albums under their belt.  They have 120,000 artists and 20,000 labels involved in the DRM-free MP3 venture.  The site is pretty easy to navigate as a whole and they even offer the top downloads / albums of the day.   It even goes as far as suggesting MP3 ala eMusic style according to previous purchases on the site. Check out for yourself here.  Feel free to send them your opinions on tweaking the site.   I wonder how iTunes will be affected out of all this.

Not really.  This guy was walking through the woods when he was attacked by an owl.  Yes folks, an owl.   Not only was he attacked once, but three times by the same owl.  Man, he must have really pissed this owl off.  At first he thought it was a prank, but after the third time he got a good look at the predator and realized it was not a tree limb or some kids, but really just an owl.  The best quote is “it was like an attack owl or something.”  I would totally love to see someone training an owl to attack.  This guys nickname is now Hootie….and not after the terrible 90’s band.   Check out the article here.

Doesn’t matter how you’re feeling, a story like this will always make you smile.  An abandoned monkey on the brink of death was nursed back to health at a rescue facility.  Though it was doing well physically, the baby had no desire for life.  Apparently he started to perk up as soon as the pigeon started giving it attention.  Now the two are inseparable.    See, doesn’t that warm your little heart?

Another Reason Breast Implants Are Bad September 12, 2007

I thought I’ve read some funny stuff in my time and then I go and stumble upon this gem of an article. Apparently this woman was riding on a motorcycle when her implant and a bee had it out. The bee apparently won and popped the implant. I am at a loss for words right now……the best is the quote “My right breast disappeared in only two days.” Ummm why didn’t you say anything if you were oh yeah leaking?

*Note the image above is not the woman in the article….just saying

For those of you who are Guitar Hero fans and are anxious to see how the game Rock Band will compare, you’ll have to wait since Viacom denied YouTube the right to have the “sneak peek” up. But below you will find the play list of what you can play as an “imaginary” band:

Blue Oyster Cult “Don’t Fear the Reaper” (Master)
The Who “Won’t Get Fooled Again” (Master)
David Bowie “Suffragette City” (Master)
Black Sabbath “Paranoid” (Cover)
The Ramones “Blitzkrieg Pop” (Master)
Mountain “Mississippi Queen” (Cover)
Bon Jovi “Wanted Dead or Alive” (Master)
Rush “Tom Sawyer” (Cover)
Nirvana “In Bloom” (Master)
Stone Temple Pilots “Vasoline” (Master)
Weezer “Say It Ain’t So” (Master)
The Hives “Main Offender” (Master)
The Strokes “Reptilla” (Master)
Queens of the Stone Age “Go with the Flow” (Master)
Foo Fighters “Learn to Fly” (Master)
Metallica “Enter Sandman” (Master)
Deep Purple “Highway Star” (Master)
Faith No More “Epic” (Master)
Jet “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” (Master)
OK Go! “Here It Goes Again (Master)
Radiohead “Creep” (Master)
The Rolling Stones “Gimme Shelter” (Master)
The Clash “Should I Stay or Should I Go” (Master)
The Smashing Pumpkins “Cherub Rock” (Master)
Beastie Boys “Sabotage” (Master)
Nine Inch Nails “The Hand That Feeds” (Master)
Garbage “I Think I’m Paranoid” (Master)
Pixies “Wave of Mutilation” (Master)
Yeah Yeah Yeahs “Maps” (Master)
Hole “Celebrity Skin” (master)

Right off the bat you will notice that they aren’t all covers as was and is Guitar Hero. Furthermore, they are trying their hardest to dip their hands into the “Indy” scene while still covering the classics. According to Wired, the game will also include down loadable Grateful Dead songs so you can get your Jerry on. Other down loadable goodies will include Metallica, full album of Never mind and Who’s Next.

I can see the budding wannabes all across the nation….
