Amazon MP3 store is DRM-free May 17, 2007

Amazon finally announced that they will be launching a DRM-free MP3 store in conjunction with 12,000 record labels. It’s unclear on how much everything will cost, but EMI is the first to join who is also offering DRM-free music on iTunes as well.
